Mission Statement

Our school counseling program is dedicated to fostering a connected, inclusive, and supportive environment that empowers every student to achieve academic success, emotional well-being, and career readiness. Through data-driven interventions, advocacy for equitable access, and collaborative partnerships with educators, families, and the community, we aim to equip students with the skills and confidence they need to navigate challenges and succeed in a rapidly evolving global society.

Vision Statement

In the next decade, our students will grow together as an equitable connected force, and emerge as adaptable, empathetic leaders who demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges, are academically successful, socially conscious, and prepared to excel in an increasingly interconnected world. They will carry forward the values of respect, innovation, and collaboration, enabling them to make meaningful contributions to their communities.

ABOUT

Jeannine DelGrosso

Jeannine is a seasoned teacher and librarian with more than two decades of experience helping adolescents grow as readers, writers, and thinkers. She holds a School Counseling degree from Touro University and brings practical classroom insight and compassion to a modern, tech-literate, and accountable counseling office. She relies on data-driven practices and Social Emotional Learning to guide students toward college and career-ready goals, with a long record of one-on-one support helping teens build clear plans toward life after graduation.

Outside of school counseling, Jeannine has extensive media and technology experience. She is a podcaster with a home studio who also co-hosted a popular radio show during the pandemic. She even developed and published a mobile app which is available in Apple and Google app stores.

Having lived in Las Vegas since 1996, Jeannine is originally from New Jersey, and graduated from UNLV. She is also a CCSD parent, with a son entering high school. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her family to historic and allegedly haunted locations while recording her podcast with her husband.
